Time Stays Tickin' - is a collab that has been long over due.  After meeting each other at an underground dance competition in Los Angeles many years ago; Coflo and Brutha Basil became instant friends.  The legendary Brutha Basil is American house dance and music royalty. An original house dancer from the NY/NJ underground scene, he is famous for pioneering some of the most athletic original house dance floor work called 'dives'.  Coflo being a long time house dancer from the West Coast, there was an instant connection and respect for Basil's history.  Their love for the music is undeniable and through time they were finally able to create this song.  There really isn't a more fitting title for the meeting of these musical minds.

The thing about Time. is that Time Stays Tickin'. In this breakdown from Coflo and Brutha Basil you feel time stand still and speed up at the same time. 'Tickin tickin time' will have you 'feeling fine in these troubled times' as Brutha Basil's silky voice glides over the serene tempos Coflo serves up through a series of keys that give Time Stays Tickin the feel of a dance floor prayer lifted up from within carrying you away into almost crossing that line.
