Its always great when a man who's always been "behind the scene" makes a move and decides to take advantage from a long time experience to obtain a specfic result out of it. Córdoba (Argentina) raised & rooted producer Luis Luchetti's long road at the local scene has lead him to work and collaborate with great artists from all over the world, such as Mad Professor, Wighnomy Brothers, Appleblim and Simon Baker. As you could see on his soundcloud, the man has also been involded as co-producer on a whole bunch of records including things on not so unknown labels. But it's only in 2017 that Luis gets a full vinyl release on the cult London-based label Third-ear where he's finally able to show a bit of his electronic music vision: quiet, discrete, handcrafted tracks halfway between deeply repetitive "dj-tools" and more built-up progressions. And this Necessary Interlude (even though Xrotica Soda shows a bit more boldness and tricks) is of the same kind. It sounds just like these tracks you'd hear in a subtle, classy dj-set, that you might not even notice when played, and which are yet making all the greatness of this set. We are of course hoping to hear more from this guy and it might not be too soon as this outsider is involved in several activites at the same time. "Nowadays, he is running an Art Petit Hotel, an Art Gallery and a Museum: Sacha Mistol 'Art Hotel and Gallery', working with industry established artists and designers. Besides the residence at the parties/vernissages, events programming (across the country) and the daily chores, he is the creator of an extense, unique, exclusive, and constantly updating playlist confirming the fact about him above mentioned at the issue, and again, the passion of doing the thing on his own way." says his biography. Well let's just hope he keeps music in mind and delivers more of this softly effective music!
