Melvin Spix is a drummer turned techno producer, who is inspired by rolling and groovy rhythms, and he boasts a prestigious back catalogue including music on influential record labels such as Ramon Tapia's Say What?, Sam Paganini's JAM, Markantonio's AnalyticTrail, and Dense & Pika's Kneaded Pains.

Living near the city of Maastricht, Melvin Spix is an accomplished producer whose style combines hard-hitting drums and mesmerising synths to create driving tracks with dystopian atmosphere, and his music has picked up DJ support by people ranging from Carl Cox to Eli Brown.

"Move On" has a pounding kick drum and rattling hi-hats combined with rhythmic synth stabs, fizzing ride cymbals, and intense claps. "Drums & Sticks" has a throbbing bassline and a gritty lead synth layered with fast-paced percussion that creates a relentless groove. There is also a 'DJ Tool' mix of "Drums & Sticks" that removes the percussion to create an atmospheric intro with building suspense.
