While we watched the current events unfold in the USA, we have been feeling pretty helpless, we wanted to speak sooner but we felt we wanted to take action rather than adding more words. We are sickened by the way individuals have lost their lives over the years at the hand of disgusting police brutality, most recently with George Floyd. But this all stems from systematic racism that generations have suffered. Some of us can’t really begin to know the true extent of how this has impacted millions of human beings over hundreds of years and while we know this may not amount to a huge donation... We believe that now is the time for change, we want to make a move towards this, even if it simply helps raise more awareness amongst our own circles.

Prodigal Son artists & friends have worked together over the past few days to make a compilation of which all proceeds will be donated to NAACP.org who are leading the fight for change in the United States, we know this is a global issue and will like to support everywhere but we have to focus on one movement at a time. We would like to thank Bandcamp for highlighting this as an important organisation to direct the funding to, as they recently announced plans to make considerable donations
