Aleya Mae

House mainstay Darius Syrossian kicks out some more essential jams, this time on the Griffintown Records label.

Syrossian has had another big year that has taken him all over the world and last time out he worked with DJ Sneak on his own Moxy Muzik label. He has long been a contemporary tastemaker with a hardcore fan base that appreciates his no nonsense style, fad free tracks and irresistibly solid house grooves.

First up is On My Mind feat. Aleya Mae, a full throttle cut with well swung drums and fresh percussive loops all topped with an emotive vocal that lights up the groove. Then comes The Trip which is another turbocharged house sound full of muscular beats and irresistible synths that amp up the energy levels and ooze timelessness. Last of all, Take Em Out has a slinky vibe with a mid tempo groove that is embellished with smart synth and hooks and will get floors locked in.

All three of these are red hot grooves from the always in-form Syrossian.
