Dykkon

After being featured in our 030 release compilation, we are glad to welcome spanish beatmaker Dykkon with a full EP named Raspberry. Four cuts of heavy textured techno, abstract, vibrant and tense.

First track Reunion lies over a relentless groove with heavy panned percussive elements, a repetitive synth hook and various layers of continuously filtered textures. Following is Conclave, clear kicks, bell like sequences, groovy bassline and low tempos set the pace until more sonic layers add fuel to the engine.

On the virtual B side, Raspberry starts with liquid and dub flavoured sounds over a broken beat, again the stereo field is worked extensively in this perfect warm up number. Closing the release Unison returns to danceflorr territories, big bottom elements in the low side of the spectrum, elastic percussive lines, and obsessive synth sequences.

A solid pack that proves the skills of this studio wizard.
