Kwizma

Sub Pressure discovered Kwizma from a single track he had submitted to the label owner, and at the time had only a couple EPs on small labels.  Since this discovery, other labels have signed multiple tracks from him all while Sub Pressure guided his music production and helped develop an EP that would best represent the skills and sound of Kwizma's full potential.  We are patient, and comfortable with exposing this artist to the world before we release what we believe to be a very potent EP featuring remix work from Kelly Dean, Leon Switch, and a collaboration with label owner Kial.  

The EP starts with a full-force, Neurofunk inspired Dubstep affair titled "Carthage."  Representative of Kwizma's style, quality sound design, and uncanny ability to produce aggressive tracks that do not scream in your face, but are more akin to bottled lighting; the power is there, although it is not released on the listener in its entirety.  "Tomahawk" follows a similar creed, subdued aggression with a strong Drum and Bass influence that is certain to keep the dance floor moving at any hour of the night.   "Submarine" is more of a laid back groove, eyes-down type skank out the fully embodies the sound of Sub Pressure's dark tribal dance floor weight.  The track "Hyperspace" is a collaboration with Kial.  The cinematic number is a dark, science-fiction style roller graced with angelic female vocals, and masterful synth sound design that transport the listener to an off-world future where humanity still has a hope.  For the last two tracks on the EP, veteran producers Leon Switch and Kelly Dean take two of Kwizma's originals and flip them on their heads with impressive results.  Leon Switch's remix of 'Carthage' is absolutely relentless, and guaranteed to bring the dance to a frenzy.  While Kelly Dean's remix of "Submarine" contains so much bass weight and space it could be detected on the most advanced Naval sonar systems.  This EP is heavy, and there is no room for filler tracks.
