Violent

The Nursery’s seventh release sees another newcomer: it’s Violent. A truly promising DJ and producer from Poland, rapidly making a name for himself as a pusher of rough, breakbeat induced techno.

Stressful Environment contributes to that persona. It is a fierce composition of peak time tracks, that at times hint towards industrial, while preserving a certain melancholy. It is largely this combination that makes these tracks complement each other so well. The muscular foundation gives them their power; an enlightening fragility keeps them from becoming mere stompers. 

With that, Violent has put together an impressive piece of contemporary techno that will most likely see the inside of many clubs in the months to come. The ‘Stressful Environment EP’ is bound to make the name Violent stick around for a while.
