Deluka

Having released his own music for several years on his self-titled label, Berlin-based DJ/producer Amotik presents AMTK+, a new extension of the imprint focussed on featuring other artists via split-EPs. Leading this new series is an EP from Italian-born producer Deluka and Amotik himself, a four-track offering of stripped-back, hypnotic, driving and meditative techno from two artists at the top of their game.

“I was given many opportunities from kind people around me when I first moved to Berlin and started my own label, so I’ve been wanting to be able to collaborate with others for some time now. Having recently quit my day job, I finally have the time and energy to work on this project and focus on A+R. I always get sent such amazing music from producers to play in my DJ sets, and the idea behind the sub-label is to create a solid community of like-minded artists who I fully believe in and whose music has resonated with me over the years.

As this project is a labour of love, I know all artists personally in some way, so it’s very important to me that this is not just another record label but also the forming of a collective of like-minded souls with a shared musical vision. All releases have been tried and tested over and over again in my DJ sets, so I’m really excited to present this new project and share the music that I love. If you’ve heard any of my DJ sets over the last year, you will have heard these tracks before” - Amotik.
